Trayvon Martin Case: President of Shoot Straight Chain on witness list

One of the witnesses in the Trayvon Martin death case, who says he doesn’t want to be a witness (reluctant) , is the president of Shoot Straight, a chain of gun stores and ranges.

He says he doesn’t know Zimmerman and wants to stay away from the case, but he does know Attorney O’mara.

Other witnesses for prosecution include, a Sandford Private Investigator, employees of Central Florida tactical firearms training facility, an employee of Chuluota Sportsmen’s Club, and a former Seminole County deputy, firearms trainer.
This list seems to imply that George really loves guns. He even bought more after he shot Trayvon. This latest known purchase was what they call a “cop killer” handgun, a Belgian-made semiautomatic pistol, capable of firing bullets at such high velocity that they can pierce body armor. Sounds like a very dangerous piece of equipment. I bet the police were interested when they found that.
It certainly causes one to wonder if he was planning on killing someone else.
Or if he found himself in a confrontation what he would do.
After he shot Trayvon Martin, the police took his gun, so he went to buy another one.
Yet, they don’t consider him to be a threat to the community. His wife owns a gun, its reasonable to presume other family members of his probably own guns, his friends own guns, he’s been charged with murder, what’s not to feel threatened about ? Right ?
George also told Sean Hannity in his interview that he knew nothing about the Stand Your Ground Law, but with quite a few witnesses coming from firearms training facilities, and one witness being a firearms instructor it appears he had a little relapse of forgetfulness which he seems to have quite often. It’s very difficult to believe that he frequented these facilities and never discussed laws that pertain to firearms with his colleagues, acquaintances, friends who also frequented these establishments.

Trayvon Martin Death : Prosecution says…

Zimmerman defense using court to influence media.

Prosecutors in the George Zimmerman murder case have filed a document with the court Tuesday in which they have accused defense attorneys of using court filings to push their media strategy.

The state made this claim in partial response to the defense’s motion filed to replace Judge K. Lester Jr.  The motion to replace the judge was filed on July 13.

Prosecutors state that the facts cited in the motion are inaccurate , incomplete or misleading.

On another note, George Zimmerman, the 28 year old, self appointed, neighborhood watch person who shot Trayvon Martin, treated himself to a nationally televised interview with Sean Hannity of FOX news yesterday evening.

I won’t go into what was said, done, heard, perceived, etc. here.  I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, I will say this; Many are saying George Zimmerman did not do himself any favors by giving the interview & I agree. In this interview George Zimmerman addressed the family of the victim, Trayvon Martin. This is what is called indirect contact.

In his second bond hearing on July 5, 2012, George Zimmerman was Ordered and Adjudged by the honorable Judge Lester to abide by certain conditions of his bond. One of those conditions was #1b which states :

“The defendant shall not have any contact with the victims family, directly or indirectly, except as necessary to conduct pretrial discovery through his attorneys;”

George Zimmerman violated the court order as he attempted to apologize to the victims family for the 2nd time since the unalterable, & terribly egregious act occurred.  George continues to try to force himself upon the victims family, even though the victims family has made it explicitly clear they want no contact with him. This is a violation of their civil rights. As citizens of the United States, they have the right to live a peaceable life. Failure to allow them privacy during this difficult time of their life denies them this opportunity.
George Zimmerman should cease & desist in his attempts to make contact with this family.

Trayvon Martin Case: George says no to shackles

After openly admitting that he “misled” the court George Zimmerman, the self appointed neighborhood watchman decided he was going to request another bond but this time, he was going to put a few demands in with that request. Really ? I wish we all could dictate or demand of the courts whatever we desired whenever.

Amazing how this person seems to be able to get whatever he demands from the courts, even when he disrespects it by outright lying as he did during his first bond hearing when he informed the courts & the public that he wanted to take the stand to address the court, yet when given the opportunity to, he instead attempted to further manipulate the situation so he had his own way while he subtly disrespected Trayvon Martins’ familys’ wishes. At that time, on that day, they were & most likely still are grieving. He had no respect for that natural process of life we all must experience at one time or another in our lives, no respect for their right to privacy during their grieving process.

This was clear when the family informed his attorney that they did not wish to entertain an apology from Zimmerman at this time.

Yet Zimmerman persistently & selfishly made his way to the stand, & under the guise of “addressing the court” issued a verbal pretense of an apology to the family while simultaneously lying in their face. (But the examinations of his lying in this instance will have to be saved for another day)

Black, Blue, Purple, Green, Yellow, Red, Orange, Pink, Rasberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, it does not matter what our outward appearance looks like. As human beings we all have the same basic needs & desires. Quiet time to grieve is one of them; especially when the grieving process is forced on us by the reckless, disregarding, actions & lack of consideration which seem to rise up from within a person who appears to lack character & integrity, as it appears Zimmerman does.

No compassion could be found to be exuding from Zimmerman that day.

And yet he was given a pass in the form of a very low bond, because the courts believed him to be a man of integrity, and believed that he was telling the truth when he both covertly & overtly allowed his wife to address the court & testify that they had very little money & would have to “scrape up” what they could to make bond, & by doing so indirectly implied they were indigent.

Even more baffling than that though is when Zimmerman requested to be able to leave the state, while on bond, due to “supposed” threats to his person. It is highly unusual for a criminally charged individual to be allowed to leave the state where the crime occurred when they are out on bond.

Yet this request was granted.

Now there he sits, barely in the lock up for two weeks, making more unusual requests.

Quite aware of his fathers judicial position in the state of VA, I wish I could introduce him to my father, just in case anyone gets the wrong impression I am an orphan, and then gets wild ideas that they can seek to lash out at me in anyway for exercising my First Amendment rights.

In the motion, which was filed on Wednesday, it is noted that he desires that he may be able to wear civilian clothes rather than the normal attire most criminally charged citizens of this country have to wear and he also desires that he be free from shackles. Zimmerman’s attorneys asserted that if he were required to wear prisoner attire in front of potential jurors, it may be that anyone who saw a photo of him in restraints would possibly violate his right to a fair trial since they might assume he’s guilty.

Why he would think that jurors are going to make their decisions based solely on photos of him whether shackled or unshackled stirs up the pistons in ones brain & sets them to firing. I just hate it when people make attempts to insult the intelligence of others by various methods for in doing so they insult their own; by not accepting the truth of the matter & that is that while they seek to voice their misguided thoughts – that to them, others are not smart enough to ascertain, they reveal their own lack of intelligence.

The jury for this case has yet to be selected; if indeed the case will follow that path.

Poor Zimmerman maybe he really did get his head bashed in by something or someone. Sounds like it may have knocked some things loose in there if they weren’t loose already. Though it’s doubtful it was Trayvon, since Trayvon was extremely busy screaming for someone to help him so he wouldn’t lose his life.

Mr. Zimmerman seems to want to make it appear to the public that he is the victim in this situation, that his safety is of great concern, because there are people who would seek to do bodily harm to him. But he couldn’t be further from the truth, for the truth of the matter is that most who are following this case have realized and accepted that the backlash that would more than likely come from attempting to do him any kind of harm is so not worth the trouble.

The true victims in this situation are Trayvon, Sybrina, Tracey, & Jahvaris. It is clear & remains that a young man will never ever again on this earth, dance, hug his mom, sing, play games, swim, fish, ride horses, vizualize his family members, vizualize his friends, or sports games on the television, drink a can of iced tea, eat a piece of candy called skittles, kiss his moms cheek, wish his mom happy mothers day, hug his dad, or his brother, grow to marry, go to prom, go to college, date, eventually have children and so many other things. I wish deep emotional healing for all of his family members, and hope that in time they will learn to remember the things that made them smile about Trayon.

Zimmerman didn’t give this young man life, and for sure he had no right to take it away.

Trayvon Martin – Untimely death of a Teen

On February 26, 2012 in Sanford FL, a teenager lost his life.

It was taken from him suddenly at the hands of a self appointed neighborhood watchman, George Zimmerman.

His name was Trayvon Martin, and he was unarmed, neither was he in the act of committing a crime when his life was taken from him.

He was walking back to his fathers’ girlfriends house after returning from a local store. He had gone to the store to buy a bag of candy; skittles, and ice tea.

It was rainy in Florida that night, and although Trayvon had plans to watch sports with his father & brother, he was taking his time walking home because he was talking on the phone with one of his female friends.

He was only 17, and in fact had just turned 17. At that age most seventeen year olds will do almost anything to connect with their peers, because being connected is important to them. So on this night Trayvon was casually strolling through the rain, taking his time & talking to his friend.

Eventually, Trayvon would begin to realize that a strange man was following him, and he would make that news known to his female friend he chatted on the phone with. He shared that information with her in what would be the last moments of his life.

The self appointed neighborhood watchman, George,  followed him after calling 911 to report him as a “suspicious” individual.

In the 911 call that was taken that night by the operator, George lists all of his reasons why he perceives Trayvon to be “suspicious”.

Just click on the link below to listen to the 911 call George Zimmerman made & enjoy the debate the anchors are participating in at the same time.

George Zimmerman 911 call

George would eventually claim he shot Trayvon in self defense, but that night it was clearly evident to at least one police officer who responded to the scene, and now to many others in the public sector, that if he had just waited in his vehicle until the police arrived, the police would have done the job they were being paid to do, thus alleviating the so called “threat” George claims he was experiencing.

Sadly, that is not how things transpired. Instead what happened that night was a devastating travesty both for the parents of Trayvon and for Trayvon himself. That night, Trayvon was to lose his life, and his parents were to lose their son to a premature, unwarranted death.

Trayvons parents most especially his mother, who was very close to him, would have no idea that when she sent her son to stay with his father in Sanford Fl it would be the last time she would ever see him again or alive.

While George was on the phone with 911, and immediately upon disconnecting with them, George decided to take matters into his own hands. After all he informed the 911 operator “These a**holes always get away.” Instead of staying in his vehicle, giving the police time to respond, and letting the police do their job, George Zimmerman started of his own volition to follow the boy after informing the 911 operator that he (Trayvon ) was running. The 911 Operator asks George what direction the boy is running in & George says “toward the back.” On the 911 call tape you will hear the operator asking him if he was following Trayvon. George admits to the operator that he was, and the operator informs George “We don’t need you to do that.” George acknowleges the information by saying, “ok” but somehow George & Trayvon ended up in close proximity to each other.

What ensued when the two individuals came into close contact with each other, is still a mystery in many ways, but slowly the world is putting the pieces together.

This case has taken many twists & turns since that fateful night, has garnered national attention due to many marches because Trayvons relatives felt Zimmerman should have been arrested right away, but he was not. Zimmerman was not arrested until approximately 45 days after he fatally shot Trayvon. This lack of action was interpreted by many to be a lack of justice for the family of Trayvon.

This case continues to be followed closely by many in mainstream society.

While it is a polarizing case for many reasons, it is also a terribly sad one due to the fact that many of the twists & turns the case has taken seem to be pointedly planned, strategic attempts Zimmerman is making in an attempt to avoid taking responsibility for a negative action he has committed. An action that has had disastrous results for the young man and his family, and may also have negative affects on Zimmermans life if he cannot get the courts to side with him in his claims he acted in self defense. An action he had within his power to avoid.

One of the last twists that has transpired in this case is that George Zimmerman had his bond revoked, due to the fact that he had set up a website to solicit funds for his defense and approximately $150,000 or more was donated, yet Zimmerman’s wife told the courts she did not know how much money was in the account, and the state had evidence that she did know; While Zimmerman claimed indigence. It would soon be revealed that the evidence state had was in the form of recorded jail phone conversations Zimmerman had with his wife.

In those conversations Zimmerman, along with his wife,  discussed a second passport he had failed to surrender, and how to move certain amounts of money around.

Zimmerman admits that he “misled” the courts and it was wrong.

George Zimmerman has been charged with 2nd degree murder and is currently in jail while his attorney argues to secure a second bond for him.
