One of the witnesses in the Trayvon Martin death case, who says he doesn’t want to be a witness (reluctant) , is the president of Shoot Straight, a chain of gun stores and ranges.
He says he doesn’t know Zimmerman and wants to stay away from the case, but he does know Attorney O’mara.
Other witnesses for prosecution include, a Sandford Private Investigator, employees of Central Florida tactical firearms training facility, an employee of Chuluota Sportsmen’s Club, and a former Seminole County deputy, firearms trainer.
This list seems to imply that George really loves guns. He even bought more after he shot Trayvon. This latest known purchase was what they call a “cop killer” handgun, a Belgian-made semiautomatic pistol, capable of firing bullets at such high velocity that they can pierce body armor. Sounds like a very dangerous piece of equipment. I bet the police were interested when they found that.
It certainly causes one to wonder if he was planning on killing someone else.
Or if he found himself in a confrontation what he would do.
After he shot Trayvon Martin, the police took his gun, so he went to buy another one.
Yet, they don’t consider him to be a threat to the community. His wife owns a gun, its reasonable to presume other family members of his probably own guns, his friends own guns, he’s been charged with murder, what’s not to feel threatened about ? Right ?
George also told Sean Hannity in his interview that he knew nothing about the Stand Your Ground Law, but with quite a few witnesses coming from firearms training facilities, and one witness being a firearms instructor it appears he had a little relapse of forgetfulness which he seems to have quite often. It’s very difficult to believe that he frequented these facilities and never discussed laws that pertain to firearms with his colleagues, acquaintances, friends who also frequented these establishments.
